Future Plans

Our pastor and our people believe that the greatest days of ministry await us in the future. We realize that it is our biblical responsibility to prepare the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow. Therefore, the ministries of Landmark are geared to fulfilling this great responsibility.

In 1998 the people of Landmark began a program of building for the future. The church purchased thirty three acres of land on route 360 in historic Hanover County . The plan was to pay off the land in ten years through the giving of God’s people we were able to pay the land off in less than three years.

At the same time we began to work with a local engineer to help us develop the plans for a new ministry campus. This facility will have approximately seventy two thousand square feet that will house the church auditorium, a commons area that will connect the Sunday school, academic building, 500 seat gymnasium and the cafeteria.

Desiring to follow God’s will for our future we have taken Psalm 127:1 to be our theme verse. “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it:” At this time we are waiting on the Lord to miraculously move in the financial needs for this new facility.
